Not only do the pedals bring Keeley’s prized boutique spin to classic circuits, but they also let you mix and match tone controls and gain/clipping styles. Customization results via two simple toggles located beneath corresponding control knobs. Setting both toggles up or both down gives you a pure re-creation of classic circuits — an incredible value in itself — but the pedal’s worth is further evidenced when you combine different circuits in new ways. For instance, the EQ curves of both circuits look nearly identical on paper (two tilt-style EQs with scooped mids around noon).
