Description: GREAT CALCITE CRYSTAL WITH SMALLER CRYSTALS GROWING OUT OF ONE END FROM MEXICO! This is from deep in my personal collection, and I am allowing the sale of very prized pieces. Enjoy! Sharp Calcite XL. NO matrix! A TRUE DISPLAY QUALITY SPECIMEN, I'D KEEP BUT I HAVE TO LIQUIDATE SOME OF MY PERSONAL COLLECTION. CHECK THIS AND MANY OTHER SPECIMENS OF BRIGHT FLUORESCENT SHORT-WAVE SPECIMENS. THIS IS AN EXTREMELY RICH PIECE AND WHILE THE PHOTOGRAPHY IS SUB-PAR, THE SPECIMEN IS TOP CLASS! BRIGHT FLUORESCENT SPECIMEN!!! This specimen is an excellent example of ONE LARGE Calcite XL. (fl. orange/red SW) with associated smaller crystals, also large from Charcas, San Luis Potosi, Mexico. GREAT example of this species from this locale, with distinct crystals fluorescing brightly! Displays wonderfully and is a good LARGE cabinet size of MUSEUM Quality. The size of the specimen is 9" (22.5 cm) by 7" (17.5 cm) by 2" (5 cm), a VERY LARGE CABINET sized specimen. This specimen is 8.2 lbs. in weight. Great to add to a competitive display.
