Description: This porcelain bread plate from Johnson Brothers depicts scenes of horse-drawn carriages in blue and white. The vintage plate is made in England and measures 6 inches in diameter. The plate is ideal for serving bread and butter, and will add a touch of elegance to any table setting. The plate is in great condition, with no cracks or scratches. There is a tiny chip on the back. ( see photo) There are 2 tiny blemishes on the back from the production of the plate. Stand not included. The plate features an impressed backstamp and is part of the Coaching Scenes product line. It was produced using blue and white pottery production style and technique, and dates from the 1960s. It is a perfect addition for collectors of vintage plates or lovers of classic British design.
