The League of American Theatre and Producers announced on September 12th that Broadway marquees would likely be re-illuminated on September 13th as part of New York's return to normalcy. A spokesman for Urinetown said that if Broadway productions resumed on September 13th, so would Urinetown, but the official opening would be announced later, as critics had not yet been able to see the show.
