We designed and produced this set to take the place of the original rubber wiper set as the originals removed way too much oil from the ways for our liking. These felts are precision cut to match your ways. Installs with the original screws and mounting holes. These precision cut felt wipers are mounted as a set of 4 on the saddle and provide protection from chips damaging the bearing surfaces between the ways and the saddle. Absorbent nature of these felts allows oil to soak into them which keeps a thin film on your bed ways at all times. Wipers are sold in sets of 4 and are very reasonably priced so don’t miss out on a chance to pick up a set for your lathe. Included are a set of 3D printed wiper guards. Made of tough durable, chemical resistant 3D printed material. We can print these in any color you want (black, red, blue ,green, white, etc). Just let us know when you place your order.
