Description: Japy Freres / Japy Brothers, Toleware nursery wall clock, late 19th century A very charming clock keeping time very well. The worn baby blue enamel supports the nursery theme on the mainly complete transfers, and although not for everyone the distress and ware fit the piece and its intended location. It is all shown in the photo's so please study as they form part of the description. The mech marked with the Japy Freres Cie stamp and 4 dots signifying the 4 brothers of the family dates the clock between 1890 - 1910, and has had a strip down clean, oil, and main spring service. It runs happily for 7+ days and keeps good time. The pendulum rate is adjusted via a worm thread on the pendulum bob, so a gentle twist clockwise / anti clockwise to adjust it. Like wise to bring the clock into beat (equal tick/tock) just a nudge to the clock its self left or right once it is hung in position. The key is provided. Diameter: 32cmDepth: 7cm Any questions please feel free, also feel free to browse my other listings. Many thanks
