Jack was born in 1932 in South West France and has always been attracted to traveling to special places to paint his impressive watercolors. He spent 5 years in Canada and more than 40 years in the United States. Jack was an Artist of America “Master” in Denver, Colorado, having exhibited in their annual show for 16 years. He has shown at the Gilcrease Museum in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the National Academy of Western Art, the Colorado History Museum of Denver, the Great American Artists show in Cincinnati and has been published in several National art magazines. Jack is also a member of the Carmel Art Association having lived in Carmel, California for over 20 years. The painting is a study of a small structure in historical country in the north-west area of modern France. It is framed in a gorgeous gold and blue frame, matted under glass.
