Description: 9 framed photos from Jacque Henri Lartigue - J H Lartigue - from the Time Life collection released in 1978 in limited edition. Each of these photos has been matted and embossed with a seal that reads "English Language Portfolio Supervised by Jacques Henri Lartigue" This was done as part of the Time Life creation and presentation in conjunction with Mr. Lartigue. These were framed in Texas and have some damage to some of the frames (as seen in the pictures) from the hanger wire while being stacked. You may want to replace the frames entirely or try to repair them. The protos and mattes remain in fine condition. These photos represent the artists ability to capture playful moments as the photos were taken between 1903-1916 in France. The Time-Life Collection was put out in 1978 in a limited series of either 5,000 or 7,500 worldwide. Not sure how many of these are left out there but I have seen these sell for over $500 for a single print. Here you have 9 different ones. The specific photos in this collection are seen in the pictures:(These are not official titles, just my own descriptions)-- Tilting Man-- Somersault in leaves-- Tennis Lady -- Airplane on the Hill-- Four kids with mustaches-- Beach walk with umbrellas-- Kids on the beach-- Bike vs. Car race-- Three kids on bike car Shipping for these in the frames will be $50 in the US. Please contact me with any questions you may have. Also, I can send more pictures upon request.
