Description: James F. Donaldson was a plane maker in St. Louis, MO with John Hall from 1842-1854. A really nice Steep Quirk Ogee with Bevel Complex Molding Planes. Very little wear on this plane. Measures 2-1/8" wide. Still has the layout marks. Also marked '1/2' on the heel. Just a beautiful plane. Ready to use or save for the display case! Plane iron and wedge appear to be original.
