Description: A rare find, all original, in as new condition. All speakers professional refoamed, Crossover Caps checked. Made in 1991, the Reference Six Series are the last great Infinitys. These 4-ways have IMG cones, sealed cabinets, the superb emit-r tweeters The mids are the best Infinity ever made. To optimise performance, these speakers shoud be driven with a 6 ohm amp,100 watts or better. These are a matched pair, in that the serial numbers are 3 digits apart (J396-704001 and J396-704004). They were made on the same day, the same line wirh the same components, just minutes apart. This makes percision matching of the sound output and color a breeze. There is only one small imperfection to note. The person I bought these from, had them mounted on a wall, using an "L" bracket (I'm not kidding). There are two small screw hole in the top of each speaker (see photos).
