The Candlewick (AKA Candle wicking) is one of Imperial Glass longest running glassware lines. Earl Newton thought about the edging on the Colonial-style needlework called “candle wicking” when designing the Candlewick 400 line, which was in introduced at the Wheeling Centennial Celebration in August of 1936.
