The filter pack includes the following, all filters are brand new in original packaging: 1) RO Carbon Filter - This 10 micron filter contains coconut activated carbon, a substance that has a surface area of over a football field per gram. This filter purifies water beyond what most home filters are capable of, yet it is only a pre filter for the Stealth's advanced RO membrane. This filter is important in that it adsorbs chlorine. Chlorine will damage more expensive RO membranes, thus it is important to regularly change out your carbon filter to protect the integrity of the RO membrane. 2) RO Sediment Filter - This 5 micron meltblown filter removes large and medium sized debris from your water source. It is the first filter in the system and should be replaced or rinsed regularly.3) Quantity 2 of the 150 GPD RO Membrane Filter - The RO Membrane filters water down to the microscopic level, allowing nothing bigger than a water molecule through.
