This is Chapter 1 of the "Empty Faces" horror storyline, entitled "The Woods". All chapters of "Empty Faces" are stand alone games and can be completed with no knowledge of the other chapters. In "The Woods", a young woman from a family of witches lies unconscious in the woods of West Virginia, afflicted by an ancient evil. Players are tasked with combing through her possessions and correspondence to figure out what happened to her and reconstruct her life in the months before she fell ill. Players must decipher the clues to use her family's ancient spells and secret rituals to save her before it's too late. "The Woods" contains 5 episodes and is now out of print. All 5 episodes are included and contain all original items and documents. The envelopes have been opened to verify their contents, but the game is un-played and is in essentially brand new condition.
