'Humbert Wolfe CB CBE (5 January 1885 – 5 January 1940) was an Italian-born British poet, man of letters and civil servant. His career in the Civil Service, began in the Board of Trade and then progressed to the Ministry of Labour. By 1940 he had a position of high responsibility and his work was recognised with the CBE and then a CB.' This is a 1st Edition / 1st Printing. Condition: Book - Good - rubbing/bumping/wear to the corners, edges and covers, a spine lean, marking, staining and discolouration to the covers, opens easily to a few pages, some marking and discolouration to the page edges and a couple of pages, foxing to the page edges and several pages, darkening to the top page edges, soft tanning to the pages and there is a pencil inscription to a previous owner inside.
