Description: Up for your consideration is this outstanding vintage amber statement necklace! This piece likely originated from Poland, and it has a wonderful Modernist design! It consists of very large piece of polished honey and butterscotch amber which is polished on four sides, with the back side being left mostly natural. This amber piece measures approximately 2 3/4" long (bezel included), by 2" wide, and 22mm thick. The amber pendant is capped in a sterling silver bezel, attached to a large silver ball. This is suspended from a black leather cord that is approximately 18 5/8" long in total wearable length by 4mm thick. The leather cord has sterling silver caps, and is held with a sterling silver lobster claw clasp.The pendant is hallmarked 925 on the back, as is the clasp on the tongue.
