Description: Marc Wanamaker (the official Hollywood/land historian) told me that the original of this photo that I showed him was the first proof he had seen that the publicity photos taken to promote the Hollywoodland development project included at least one “ride” photograph where the secretary and laborers got in on the fun. This photo has every key element of the period including very early radial tires where the rims were bolted on. The make of the car is as of now still unknown. 4 x 6” postcard on extra heavy 18 pt. paper and with soft touch lamination on front; the premium options actually double the production cost. Built to be easy to clean the front, and easy to write on the back. The velvet soft touch lamination is matte (no gloss), does not show fingerprints, and feels sort of rubbery or wax like in a highly abrasion resistant way. This image has been retouched mainly to put in the missing beginning of the sign which was obscured in a dust cloud, as such I William Rafti own the copyright on this variant. Rafti Logo is not on actual postcards J
