Description: Hogan Radial Wood & Iron Set Up for grabs is a Ben Hogan Radial golf club set. This set is from 1983 and the irons were forged, as the word Radial is not underlined on the club. This set includes three woods, the 1-wood/Driver, 3-wood and 5-wood, which are all persimmon woods with the screws in the face, basically old school golf clubs. The three wood clubs also include the original Hogan headcovers with the classic number font stitched on them to reference the particular club (1,3,5). The nine irons (3,4,5,6,7,8,9,E,S) are also included, ranging from the 3-iron down to the Sand Wedge. Ben Hogan did not call the 10th iron a Pitching Wedge, instead he referred to it as the Equalizer or E. All of the clubs have steel shafts, with the three wood clubs and all of the irons (except the E and S) having an APEX 4 designation on the shaft, which indicates that they are stiff. The only two irons that don't have a number indicating shaft flex are the Equalizer (E) and the Sand Wedge (S). The circle is empty on those, so I don't know what the flex is on those.
