Very special and secret varnishes are used to achieve the remarkable aged finish. The 63-RLC is inspired by the Hofner bass Paul McCartney still plays to this day, and features an unbound 2 piece neck and 2 on a strip tuners. Each bass is a unique instrument, no two are exactly alike as the aging process is all done by hand. All models are supplied with a pearloid pickguard and include a Höfner Vintage strap and case.Our special “Rooftop Mod” replicates the look of Paul McCartney’s 500/1 as seen in the Get Back documentary, complete with period correct black nylon tape wound strings (unclipped on the headstock to replicate the look), no pickguard on the body (Still included), and a Bassman sticker placed exactly on the body where Paul’s was (note the sticker is removable and reusable).You are looking at Serial Number: W0124H002Includes free shipping in the continental USA, and free expert guitar setup!Includes Hardshell case.
