Description: This is a 1940's Comet Brand 40 ft automobile box car. Probably pre World War 2, maybe as early as 1939. The box is not original, The car is wood with embossed paper sides. The car is in excellent shape. Missing one step. Looks like somebody replaced the original wheels with Kadee metal wheels. Couplers are NMRA horn hook. Couplers can easily be changed to Kadees. Original instructions are included. Model and box will be carefully wrapped and shipped. Sold as is, no returns. Look at the photos, ask questions
