Description: HIROBO "Shuttle" R/C Helicopter "Vintage" Tail Rotor Belt (Hirobo calls it a "Timing Belt"), Part #0402-049 (this is specifically for the early versions of the shuttle). This Tail Belt, as with all Hirobo Spares in the early days, had several different part numbering schemes and can be a bit confusing... I have finally come to the realization that I need to start thinning out some of My collectible inventories. First, some History... Many Years ago, several importers of the Hirobo Radio Control Model Helicopter brand would buy specific parts in "Bulk" quantities (Head Components, Tail Gear Box and Tail Rotor parts, etc.). They would then "Package" the pieces with their own labels (Gorham Model Products (GMP) comes to mind) and assign their own specific part numbers to the pieces. Enough about "The Good Ole' Days"..... This Tail Belt is NOT one of those items. This is a Genuine Hirobo sourced Replacement part and is in the original Hirobo Packaging! These are hard to find, so rest assured, this is the correct belt for the first generation Shuttle! You occasionally find them listed for the shuttle, but if not the above part numbers, it is most likely for other Hirobo machines ... So, if You have a Vintage Shuttle in the garage, and have been looking for a "Replacement Tail Belt" (they always tend to get "kinked" (another one of those words I never thought I would use) from the Main Rotor Blades in a crash... So here is Your chance to get Your Heli back out and burn some more fuel!
