With an important memorable essay in French language by Louis Aragon titled " Matisse : Apologie Du Luxe ". The lithograph print plates measure 8 1/2" W X 10" H, on pages that are 11" W X 14 7/8" H. The prints are attached to the page with a method called " tipping " where it is attached by hand on the left edge. Behind the print plate on the page is the title, date and size of the original artwork. Previously priced at $1000, as seen in pictures. Book size - 15 1/2" X 11 1/2"
