The chain is made from 950 silver. This means that it is 95% silver. It is slightly purer than Sterling Silver which is 92.5% silver. The chain is about 46 cm (18") long & is made up of 17 skulls linked together. Each skull link is about 20 mm / 0.8" long. The back of the skull is hollow. There is a claw catch on one end of the chain & a split ring key on the other. The silver is slightly oxidised & so is slightly blackened in places, it is a deliberate effect.
