Description: This historical set of (4) vintage Hazel Atlas 1/2 pint sour cream glasses celebrates the United States of America’s Bicentennial. The pattern features dark blue stars all around with one side having a gold drum embellished with an eagle and the other side in dark blue writing says Bicentennial Celebration 1776-1976. Made during a time before plastic overwhelmed our landfills, these glasses were made to celebrate life, look pretty and be useful long after the sour cream was gone. Since they were made for longer use they were made of a little heavier glass to stand the test of time. The glasses are in excellent vintage preowned condition with no cracks, chips, hairlines or loss of design. The glass is still bright and shiny and the design colors are still bold and vibrant. The bottoms of some of these glasses have the Hazel Atlas logo and the size along with the number but some only have a number. As with all vintage glasswear there can be dimples, bubbles, straw marks, and check marks due to the manufacturing process as well as light wear consistent with age and use.
