Description: Original Harvard Yale 1913 Team Dinner Menu held at the Copley Plaza Hotel, Boston MA. Shaped like a football in the colors of red, white and blue, the Copley Plaza is shown on the front and Harvard Yale flags shown on the back. Condition is preowned, leather binding has come apart and someone wrote “$4.00” on page 3 of the menu, which I assume is the price of the meal. Interesting Facts: Harvard defeated Yale 15-5 at this game held at The Stadium, Cambridge, MA on November 22, 1913. Note this game occurred exactly 50 years to the day prior to John F. Kennedy, Jr’s assassination. The Copley Plaza held its Grand Opening on August 19, 1912. Mayor of Boston John F. “Honey Fitz” Fitzgerald, President Kennedy’s grandfather, presided over a reception of more than 1,000 guests.
