Description: This is an original 1970 copy of the super-rare A New Day LP by Harry Deal and the Galaxies, on Eclipse Records ECS-1002. Legendary North Carolina soul-rock / funk / psych band, especially famous for their highly collectible “northern soul” single, I Still Love You / You’re Always On My Mind, both sides of which are included on this even rarer LP. Now and then you might find the singles (they are also quite rare and expensive) but the LPs are nearly impossible to come across. This copy is a beautiful one, too. Still in the original shrinkwrap and very well cared for. The disc has a few light superficial scuffs but it plays beautifully with no pops or ticks or any issues apart from a tiny bit of faint crackle between a few songs, not much at all. The cover is nearly immaculate except for some discoloration at the left edge on the back, and a very lightly dinged lower right corner. Really a beautiful cover and a wonderful sounding disc, impossible to find in this shape.
