Description: Found this while sorting through several boxes of old family paperwork. It appears to be a sermon handwritten by Rev Dr John Adam Earnest which he delivered on several different occasions. See the dates listed in the upper corners. The document is written in pen and ink on both sides of 6 pages from an old notebook. The pages measure 7" x 8.5". The paper is yellowed, creased where folded in half with little to no damage to the edges. Considering it's age, the document is in quite good condition. I do not know the exact history of this document nor the history of the good reverend. I did a cursory search online and found a minister of the same name and era who lived in Pennsylvania. He was born in 1830, died in 1904 and was a descendant of a Revolutionary War Vet. I've included some info on the man, but cannot say for sure it's the same person. But, the locale and dates seem to support the connection. Nevertheless, it's an interesting document with some historical value for any collector. Shipped in a 10x4.5 envelope. Thanks for looking, we ship to the lower 48 states only.
