Handmade Pewter Xmas Tiny Santa with Bag Figure from Antique Chocolate Mold

Description: Please note that this is not a mold but a figure that has been made from a mold. You're not going to be able to pour anything into this.I've had a bunch of these handmade pewter Christmas and Easter figures for a very long time (this listing is for one Santa but I have lots more of these listed). Always intended on painting them for my collection. I used to make chalkware from antique chocolate molds and thought it was so neat to have these that were made in pewter. I don't remember who made them or how they made them but they did use an antique chocolate mold to start. Had to be a lot of work to make a figure initially (probably out of plaster) and then make a mold that can stand having pewter poured into it. Then these had the mold edges cleaned up. They're ready to paint or decorate or just leave them as is. I think the original maker intended on making pull toys with these.Classic Santa carrying bag. 4 1/2 inches high by 1 1/2 inches wide.
