This ring is artist-signed, but the artist's name is difficult to read. The ring is crafted from 14k gold and 22k gold, and was made in 1996. Photos cannot begin to do this ring justice--it's amazing in person and will catch anyone's eye. The face is asymmetrical. The opal flashes amazing blues and greens, and is bezel-set with a gold bead above and below. If you look closely around the bezel, you'll see how the artist hand-impressed or hand-hammered the border as well as the split shank, all the way around. The underside of the ring is a solid gold sheet, upon which it is hand signed and dated. This one of a kind artisan ring measures 3/4" north to south.
