Description: Hand made to fit the Bark River JX4 "Bush Bat" that is 7.75" overall with 3.75" blade. A2 version was used for molding the sheath. NOTE: because of the curvy shape of this knife, you have to be careful to pull straight out of the sheath. The handle shape will tend to lead you to pull out at an angle which will cause either the spine or edge of the blade to drag... Made from .080 Coyote Tan Boltaron Includes horizontal belt clip for Scout Carry on up to 1 1/2" belt. Scout carry, also called horizontal carry, is a comfortable way of carrying a fixed blade knife. It helps conceal your tool while leaving it easy to draw. Most people who scout carry their knife attach it to their belt in either the small of their back or on their front side, slightly to the left. 6 o’clock or 11 o’clock. The clip on this sheath is set up for carry in the front left side with the handle of the knife facing your right hand. If you want to carry in the pit of the back the handle will face the left hand or you can remove the clip and attach it to the other side of the sheath to change the orientation so that the handle will point to your right hand. For replacement of the sheath that comes with the knife. You may want to use this sheath in the outdoors and keep the original sheath pristine. Or maybe the dog ate your original sheath.... Pictures are of the sheath you will receive so look carefully. The sheath only fits this particular model. As is normal with Kydex, you may need to gently heat the throat and adjust the fit of the handle as your knife may be more or less worn than the one that I used for a form. NOTE: you are buying one sheath. Knife is NOT included. NOTE: Kydex is a hard material that is likely to scuff the handle or blade of your knife. It is most commonly used for outdoors carry and is not suitable for a new or collectible knife that you are trying to keep pristine. Please note that belt clips including Tek-Lok, Dots-Lok and G-Clip are all mounted behind the blade and will cause the sheath to ride high.
