One line of engraving is included. They can be attached with rivets or Chicago screws (see #2 above for pricing), to your halter, collar, etc. We recommend Chicago screws for fastening to a working halter, as they are more durable than rivets, and also easier to replace if your horse outgrows its halter. Perfect for identifying your horse's lineage, owner, phone number, etc. with an optional second line ($2 extra). They are finished with a baked-on synthetic resin, that will not tarnish or rust. They are extremely sturdy and create an elegant finish to the halter. We rotary diamond engrave the text 5 times into the plate, to create a very durable engraving, much more so than just diamond etching or laser engraving, that has a tendency to rub off. The exposed raw metal is then double acid oxidized to produce the darkened text.
