Description: 16mm Scopitone filmGuy Marchand "La Passionata" CA-258Directed by Alain Brunet EU Kodak print (usually faded less than US Eastman prints)Good sound; no splices; thin black lines on right and also a few center left; faded to red and yellow. This reminds me of Roy Orbison, with a lot of melodrama and a piercing high falsetto. The screenshots and attached film clip are taken from this print, but with a crappy old point-and-shoot camera. I just wanted to give you a rough sense of what this print actually looks like. Please disregard any bad focus, flickering, background projector noise, tilted image, and other flaws that are the fault of the camera or projector and not the print. Scopitone films are the 1960s equivalent of today's music videos. They were made to be played on a Scopitone film jukebox, but can be shown on any 16mm film projector that can play films with MAGNETIC soundtracks. For more information about Scopitone films, please see my website at http://www.scopitonearchive.com. Please see my other listings for additional Scopitone films as well as vinyl records by Scopitone artists. I'll combine shipping if you buy more than one Buy-It-Now film but you must (1) select "Add to Cart" for each film, and then (2) select "Request Total." I'll then send a combined invoice for you to pay.
