Description: Here is a very charming vintage Gustave Baumann book, published 1939, entitled "Frijoles Canyon Pictographs, recorded in woodcuts and hand printed by Gustave Baumann". The book, dated 1939, measures 9" tall by 7 1/2" wide should be considered a fragment due to missing cover linen, and one torn page. The book appears to be complete and has many additional color woodblocks included. All images and text are in excellent condition. The image of the Deer Hunters was carefully removed from the book and matted and framed. The image measures 27" wide by 6" tall and framed measures 34" wide by 14" tall. The image is in excellent condition with no rips, tears or stains. Amateur frame and mounting but presents beautifully and is signed in pencil by Gustave Baumann in the lower right corner. The book and print are very charming and would be an excellent addition to the esoteric collection... Buyer pays $65.00 shipping without glass to the lower 48...
