KICK-EEZ Recoil pads work by reducing the felt recoil of a firearm when it is fired. The pad is designed to absorb and dissipate the energy generated by the recoil, which helps to reduce the amount of force that is transferred to the shooter's shoulder. The key to the effectiveness of KICK-EEZ Recoil pads is the material they are made from. Our rocker pads are the more rounded ones, and this one we call the sporting clay (with the taper.). We have an all purpose version (which is just the basic shape ready for you to grind to fit) and our trap recoil pad is concave in the middle. We also have a specialized version with non-standard screw patterns designed for stocks with unique screw placement where drilling/tapping another hole is not an option. The thinner width of this Sporting Clay pad ( 1 7/8" wide) is only available in black. The wider version (2") is available in black, red, orange, brown and blue.
