Description: This wonderful antique pitcher is decorated with a large vivid sunflower on both the front and back with a blue pebble textured background. It's difficult to find these syrup pitchers in excellent condition especially the pewter lids which generally deteriorate with use, this lid is in one piece and has not been repaired, it is a little crooked. I believe the pitcher is in excellent condition for it's age. There is one color/glaze skip on the flat part of the bottom from production. Please see photos and ask if you have any questions.Pitcher is marked with the Griffin, Smith & Hill incised Etruscan stamp used from 1879-1889. Also marked "E 23" Measures 8 1/2" high, 4 1/4" wide (at widest part above base) with the lid being 2 1/8". Weighs 1.1 pounds.
