Description: This is a two map set which shows where everyone lived in the Town of Greenwich, Fairfield County, Connecticut in 1867 and was reproduced on fine natural color parchment. They're 11"x 17" and suitable to fit a standard size frame or can be matted to fit a larger museum quality mat. The pictures provided show only a portion of each actual map. Contained on the maps are finely detailed locations of the homeowners of Greenwich and on one map there are also inset maps of Coscob, Mianus, Rocky Neck Point, Glenville and Banksville. Due to the limited size of my scanner bed, portions of the maps may not be shown. Please note that because this map covers such a large area, many of the names are very small. Some of the surnames which are clearly printed are Ferris, Sherwood, Peck, Knapp, Mead, Hubbard, Brush, Clark, Wallace, Newman and so many more that it's impossible to list! Also indicated on the maps are schools, streets, railroads and rivers/streams. This two map matching set would indeed make quite a conversation piece as well as an excellent gift for that person who has everything! What a great genealogical treasure to be able to locate the homes of one or more of your ancestors! Multiple purchases can be combined for one shipping charge!
