I learned in the fluorite class that fluorite is made from calcium and fluorine which makes calcium fluoride which it what Fluorite is. Now SCIENTIFICALLY fluorite is negatively charged and will pull electrons from the environment!!!! So fluorite actually can pull traumas and dis-ease from the body. So now what, doubters?? SCIENCE Says it is so! Mic drop…haha So make sure you cleanse it every once in a while. It will get dingy, I had a blue fluorite rose sitting around for 4 years and it got ugly! Dingy brownish, not the beautiful rose I photographed to sell years before, very noticeable it wasn’t on the surface either it had been covered and I wiped it to no avail. I took it to the creek on the full moon and cleansed it along with other crystals and when I got back to light it was gorgeous again!! An incredible difference in color! You can use many methods to cleanse your crystals and like selenite, fluorite shock not be kept outside or in water and if you’re making an elixir so the double glass method dont submerge it in the water and drink it! You can use a Taoist 36 stone Quartz circle to cleanse crystals, full moon light, sage or other cleaning incense like copal, bury it, sunbath it (not too long anything purple, blue or red can fade. Don’t keep labradorite outside it gets all cracked and weird. Fluorite is great for body treatments, utilizing a grid around or on the body to pull out negativity. Different colors can have different effects, like green is good for physical healing, yellow would be good for the solar plexus etc. All of my crystals are cleansed in the beautiful creek at the bottom of my driveway in the Oregon mountains.
