The picture frame opening measures about 3 ¾” wide by 5 ¾” tall to easily hold a 4” by 6” picture. It runs on 2 AAA batteries (not included). The clock measures about 7” high by 7” wide and 5/8” deep. It was gently used and in good condition. The battery compartment show signs of past battery corrosion but it still works. I kept the instructions in the back of the picture frame part, they were a little thick and needed to tape the door to stay close. The tape has been removed.
