You don't have to know the speedo's input range, just connect the GPS sender with speedo and set the speedo to 100 MHP then it will work. See instruction for detail. To quick test, just connect sender to +12V and ground (no gauge), the LED should turn to green in a couple minutes, otherwise the satellite signal is not enough.
