Built of heat formed High Density Polyethylene, this armor provides rugged protection in full contact rattan sword fighting combat. It is assembled with 550 test paracord. It is a Gorget crafted for comfort, fit, and safety. It includes an attached lobster tail for added upper spine protection. All edges have been heat treated to give a smooth and safe rounding. This armor is entirely compression rivet free as we use solid copper rivets and burrs for closure. Failures are rare & easy to fix. It is designed for speedy armoring up and down. Although light in weight, this Gorget is nearly indestructible and extraordinarily tough. Although some areas ask that exposed plastic be covered in tournaments, this armor exceeds all known world standards for protection. Options: Sizing: Measure of Neck Circumference Small: 12" - 14" Medium: 15" - 16" Large: 17"-18" Extra Large 19" + Handedness: Closures are on both sides of the gorget. Our current models use a simple attachment through 4 holes and bow tie on both sides of the gorget. You can easily re-lace your gorget to use a tangleweave if you would prefer the additional security. Adding conventional buckles is also a reasonable option. Rust proof. Mildew free. Easy to clean.
