Gorgeous Antique Solid Wood Victorian Armoire - Crown Molding

Description: Offered here is this Beautiful Antique Solid Wood Free Standing Armoire. The piece is in amazing condition, with very little sign of wear at all. There are a few light surface scratches to the finish from general use, but it has been very well cared for, and is in amazing condition. Unfortunately, someone has installed shelves within the armoire which are supported using contemporary "L" brackets. These could easily be removed, however, with little effort. I am unsure of the exact age or manufacture of the piece. It features a gorgeous crown molding around the top, for a majestic finished look. The piece also features an embossed carving of scrolling vines, capped with a shell motif at the top of the door. The mirror features a a one inch bevel around the perimeter. The armoire has the original metal hanging rod still inside which is most likely made of brass. There is some separation at the corners of the top crown molding. The armoire rests on a single large size drawer with delicate hand-cut dovetail joints. I am unsure of the type of wood that this armoire is made from, but it has a beautiful finish, and has obviously been well cared for. The armoire is 78.5" tall, 41.5" long across the front, and 17" wide front to back. It is an incredible Victorian piece that is in completely usable condition.
