To protect the paint during handling this body has a sealer coat of automotive urethane clear. Due to the nature of the painting process, and the basic sealer coat, there is texture to the finish. Additional work will be needed if you require a perfect, show room finish. Clear coating services are available if you require a perfect finish and do not have the resources to complete it yourself (please message for details). If you are on a budget and able to live with an imperfect finish, the body can be assembled as-is. Body Type................ Voyager Body Wood................ Basswood Pickup Configuration.....Hum, Single, Hum Weight....... 2 lbs 11 oz Bridge Compatibility.....Original Edge, Lo Pro Edge or Edge Pro Tremolos. Neck compatibility.......Cut to have a snug fit with 24 fret, 25.5" scale, Japanese spec, 56mm heel width, AANJ necks (any of my 6 string AANJ necks I have listed on ebay will work as well). 57 and 58mm necks will require fitting work. If you do not have the resources to open up the neck pocket it is absolutely critical that you take the time to accurately measure your neck heel width. If you can not accurately measure your neck you should assume that your neck is on the larger side of tolerance and be prepared to have a qualified technician perform fitting work. Includes complimentary cavity covers (either clear or matte black). The body will default ship with clear covers. If you would prefer black covers, you must message us immediately after ordering. If we do not get a message that you would prefer black covers, it will ship with clear covers. No neck, pickups, or trem is included with the body.
