Product Description: Listing Update...This is not so much an update as it is a brief comment about the computers and related parts I have available for sale. Personal computers (and in particular desktop computers) have always been a hobby of mine. I've enjoyed tinkering with this stuff over the years and have accumulated a number of items during this time...some new and some used. I am not an expert on the subject...more of an enthusiast...but I will still do my best to answer any questions as it relates to my computer related listings. Thank you. Original Listing... This offering is for a new (open box) DeepCool GAMMAXX 400 V2 CPU cooler. It's the unfinished metal version with a blue LED fan. So the fan has just the one typical four-pin connector that plugs into a traditional fan header on a motherboard. With respect to socket compatibility, the mounting hardware will accommodate the relatively current AMD (AM4 and AM5) and Intel (LGA 115X and LGA 1200) sockets. The included mounting hardware will also accommodate older AMD and Intel sockets (and you can either look up older socket compatibility on the manufacturer's website, or send me a message and I will try to help). Finally, this mounting hardware is not compatible with Intel's newest LGA 1700 socket (12th, 13th and 14th generation processors). As is the case with many of my computer related purchases, I accumulated a number of coolers over the last few years for new computer builds. Although, the bicycle parts business has me overwhelmed at the moment and I just don't have much time to build new computers. So I thought I would make a few of these coolers available to someone else that may need one before I would get around to using them. Having said all of the above, I thought it might also be helpful if I shared a spec. sheet of sorts that highlights some of the primary cooler features: Socket compatibility: LGA 115X / LGA 1200 / AM4 / AM5 / and older socket models Dimensions (L x W x H): 129 mm x 77 mm x 155 mm Weight: 606 grams Heat pipes: 4 count x 6 mm in diameter Fan speed: 500 to 1650 RPM (+/-10%) Fan airflow: 64.5 CFM Fan noise (max): 27.8 dB Fan connector: 4-pin PWM Bearing type: Hydro / Fluid LED type: Blue LED LED Connector: Not applicable, fan connector also controls LEDs In terms of condition, this is a new (open box) CPU cooler that will be shipped in its original retail packaging with all the mounting hardware for both Intel and AMD sockets (as noted above). I am referring to this offering as an open box unit, because it was briefly installed on a new computer for a customer. Before the customer took delivery, he elected to go with a different cooler. So this one went back in the box and on the shelf where it's stayed for at least a year. It's basically new, with only a handful of burn-time hours (and it performed as expected). Still, since it's been installed on a new computer for a brief period, I am calling it an "open box" unit and offering it for a modest discount. We only charge actual shipping rates, but once an order exceeds a certain amount, we hesitate to use the least expensive US Postal Services First Class International service. We feel this way, because this service is not trackable or insurable...so more risk of loss. We prefer the US Postal Services Priority Mail International service for more expensive orders, because this service is trackable at USPS.com and insurable...so less risk of loss. Unfortunately, this service is more expensive, especially for smaller/lighter packages, relative to the First Class International service. We are sorry about these higher shipping costs, but hopefully our notes help to explain why this is the case. Note to international customers regarding customs... We also apologize to those that feel their country import taxes, duties and brokerage fees are excessive. As a small US business, we are required by customs' laws to declare each order as a retail sale. Additionally, the declared order value must be equal to total store purchases and/or winning auction bids (less any shipping costs, as these are not considered in the declared value). As a result, each customer will be responsible for paying his/her own country taxes, duties and brokerage fees, which will be collected upon delivery.
