The body is 57LPC, so it is made of 1 piece of mahogany only. Unlike the maple top models found in 68 and modern style customs, it gives you the rich sound of mahogany that is typical of 57LPC. The body is "Heavy Aged" specification by Murphy Lab, an artisan team led by aging pioneer Tom Murphy, which reproduces the peeled finish on the neck and body and belt buckle scratches caused by hard play on tours and gigs, and uses heavy aged hardware by Murphy Lab.
