Thanks _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ Description This listing is for a very rare, and beautiful, factory original OEM Gibson Custom Shop Hard Shell guitar case that was made for an ES-339 type guitar. The case was only used to store a guitar so it still looks new and is near mint to mint condition. As you can see, it has a classic black tolex exterior, with a super plush crushed velvet Burgundy interior, brass / gold colored hardware and the original Gibson Custom Shop Star logo on the lid. The case was made for the Gibson Custom Shop by TKL of Canada, and their quality is exceptional. It's the same case, that came with one of the brand new Gibson Custom Shop ES336 ES338 ES339 ES356 CS336 CS339 or CS356 guitars.Those guitars sell for about $4000 to $5000 and these cases almost always stay with the guitar, so the cases rarely come up for sale. Since it has a symmetrical shape, the case will work with both a right hand RH and left handed LH version of those models. This case is in great shape. The super plush crushed velvet Burgundy interior is very clean and in near mint condition. The classic black tolex exterior has a couple of very minor dings on the edges, that have been touched up, but nothing major. All of the brass / gold colored hardware is still intact, including the hasps hinges and lock as well as all of the small round protective cap feet. The padded leather type handle is still intact and it's also in great shape. There's a lock on the side of the case, to secure your guitar, while it's being stored or transported and the key is included. We'll also include a manilla envelope for the key and the moisture absorbing silica gel pack. Also notice, the case has an arched dome top lid, for added protection. Both of the straps that hold the lid open, are also still in place. There's an accessory pocket to store all your extra strings, picks, strap capo 1/4" cable and a small tuner etc. The lid for it is still intact, as well as the small leather pull tab. These are the approximate interior dimensions, between the pads so please compare them with your guitar, to make sure it will work. The width at the upper bout is 10-5/8" The width at the lower bout is 13-3/4" The overall length is 40-3/4" and there's a 1/2" pocket at the very end for the lower strap pin The depth is right at 2-1/4" in the middle and there's another 1" or so in the lid. A Les Paul will fit also in this case but it's a bit loose. We also have a couple of other Gibson USA ES399 cases, listed on eBay.
