Description: ‘ 58s with a figured top don’t come up too often, as Gibson Custom Shop almost always gives them plain tops. I suppose this top wasn’t quite good enough for a ‘59 LP at $2000 more! The guitar is like new, and has never left my smoke-free humidified studio. There’s not a mark on her, and if you think you see one, it’s dust. I recently changed the strings, polished the frets, and oiled the fingerboard. Rosewood neck has lots of detail to it. The first pic is the true shade of the guitar, though I took some pics in a brighter area so you could see the flame and look for any issues. Wildwood spec sheet is in the pics, which should answer most of the detailed questions. To me, this neck is closer to a ‘59 spec than a ‘58 spec; a nice hand fitting full C.
