Description: Sword is marked to the 1 st Foot Artillery Regiment which was based in Konigsberg and Lotzen ( now Giżycko in Poland). It took part in famous Battle of Tannenberg in 1914 between German and Russian Empire forces. You can find more info online. Blade has some dirt, discoloration and leftover cosmoline, but I do not see any nicks or pitting. Grip has a small part missing, see photo. Scabbard is regimentally unmarked. Inspect the photos, they are part of the description. Slowly selling my collection.
