Description: German M1884/98 - Third Pattern, WW2 bayonet. Made in 1943 by Friedrich Herder Abr. (Abraham) Sohn of Solingen. Matching marks on both sides on the blade and scabbard "8843" & "43ffc". This would indicate they have been together since leaving the factory. Dual pommel marks. Bakelite grips. Press stud working as designed. Scabbard has normal patina and no dents or damage. Blade has no rust, pits or corrosion but has some small indentations on the spine near the hilt (see photo). Additional photos provided upon request. Ask questions before you buy.
