Description: These were some of my first parts purchases, from the Boley dealer that used to be somewhere near Boston in the 80's or 90's. One set of very nice oil rings that are genuine Boley. They fit the most common Boley 8mm headstocks, for reference a penny fits snuggly inside but doesn't fall all the way through. I'm sure many other brands used the same ones, these are direct from Boley either on a lathe or as replacement parts. Very nice used condition. Some of the oil rings I bought NOS or taken off a new lathe, but that was a generation ago, and I don't remember which are which exactly, so they're all sold as used. This set comes with the bag I got them in, or a NOS Boley bag I got at the same time. As far as the rings, I did not clean anything up for the photos. As with all my items, sold AS IS and NO RETURNS. Super rare, I don't even see any used sets for sale, past or present, normally you have to buy a broken headstock to get them. Only established buyers in the 48 States with confirmed addresses.
