Our customer is still using these in the field, but we have far more spare base units than we need as they have been much more reliable than we originally calculated. We use these base systems when we have RMA's so the customer can simply move their hard drive and battery into the new base and be up and running as quickly as possible. If you have an existing broken GD8200 these are ideal replacements. If you are looking for rugged laptops for a new deployment, contact us and we can create you a custom listing for a newer model.
