Description: This is an etching by Gene Kloss, who is considered one of the most prominent American printmakers of the 20th Century. Her work is collected by museums throughout the world. This is an edition of 75, of which this is # 44. It is signed in the lower right hand corner and titled "FIESTA PARASOL" and numbered in the lower left hand corner. This etching was made in 1969 and we purchased it from Gallery A in Taos, New Mexico in the 1970s. It has never been framed and has been carefully stored in a smoke free environment since that time. The actual image measures 13 7/8" by 11" and the overall size of the paper is 15" by 18 5/8". This is number 530 in the Catalog Raisonne. The etching itself is in excellent condition and will be carefully packaged and shipped insured.
